Healing through the Quran and Sunnah
Understanding Jinn Possession:
Allah created the jinn from smokeless fire, and they live unseen among us. While many jinn are harmless, some can harm humans by causing physical illness, mental distress, or strange behaviors. This is called jinn possession (mas). It can happen through magic (sihr), evil eye (ayn), or direct attack by jinn.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ recognized this reality and taught how to treat it with Quranic healing (Ruqyah Sharia).
Common Signs of Jinn Possession:
While only an experienced and qualified raqi can confirm possession, some signs often include:
✅ Physical Signs:
Sudden seizures without medical cause
Paralysis or inability to speak
Physical pain moving from place to place without diagnosis
Unusual strength during anger or episodes
✅ Emotional & Mental Signs:
Extreme fear or anger without reason
Talking or laughing alone frequently
Hearing voices or seeing things others can’t
Depression or suicidal thoughts that don’t respond to treatment
✅ Spiritual Signs:
Feeling disturbed or nauseous when hearing Quran
Aversion to prayer, Quran, or religious places
Speaking in strange voices or languages during episodes
Sudden hatred toward loved ones or spouse without reason
How to Treat Jinn Possession Islamically:
✅ 1. Ruqyah Sharia (Quranic Healing):
Recite or listen to Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayat Al-Kursi (2:255), Surah Al-Baqarah (selected verses including 2:102), Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas.
Blow over water and olive oil after recitation and use it for drinking, bathing, or applying.
✅ 2. Sincere Repentance and Duas:
Strengthen your connection with Allah, seek forgiveness, and avoid sin, as disobedience can attract jinn.
✅ 3. Maintain Daily Protection:
Read morning and evening duas (adhkar) consistently.
Keep your home free from haram elements (e.g., amulets, music, inappropriate content) that invite jinn.
✅ 4. Seek Qualified Help:
Only consult a trusted raqi who follows the Quran and Sunnah, avoiding magicians or those who use shirk-based practices.
What to Avoid:
Never go to magicians, fortune-tellers, or people who promise quick fixes with shirk or bid’ah.
Don’t rely on taweez or amulets with unknown writings.
Important Reminder:
Not every strange symptom is due to jinn; always rule out medical and psychological conditions with professional help first.
